Lee served in the Royal Lao armed Forces and Special Guerrilla Units, Military Region 3, Savannakhet, Laos during the Vietnam Conflict and the “Secret War” in Laos. He continued to serve his country defending freedom from communist aggression after the American withdrawal form Laos in 1975. He performed clandestine missions along the Thailand and Lao border He assisted in running arms via President Ronald Reagan to those who continued to fight the North Vietnamese and Pathet Lao communists until the United Nations brokered a peace agreement with all waring factions in Cambodia and Laos. Lee made his last “Jump” last year while training with the Royal Lao Airborne and United States Military in North Carolina at age 67.
He emigrated to the United States in 1989 and became a naturalized citizen of The United States of America.
