United States Department of State After Action ReviewUnited Stated Department of State completed an after action review of the actions taken during the evacuation of Afghanistan, "Operation Allies Welcome". The review dated March 2022 was not published until June 30th, 2023 just as the the 4th of July weekend began. No explanation has been given for the delay or why it was published on this particular weekend.
