Cambodian Legacy Story Collection Funding Bill
This was the first attempt by the Cambodian Community to access Legacy funding for historical and cultural collection of Khmer Minnesotans stories. The effort failed as the legislation was never introduced by thier sponsor Rep. Dean Urdahl who was the Chairman of the Legacy Committee at the time. An effort was made by Senator Jim Abler to obtain funding from the Minnesota Historical Society but failed as well. |
